Chapter 2Tom froze when he felt someone grip his shoulders. Then a voice he recognized as Gib’s called him Cailean while saying he’d missed him. Shaking free of Gib’s hands, he turned slightly to look at him. “Whoever you think I am, you’re mistaken.” “Am I?” Gib came around to pull out the other chair at the table and sit. “Can you say that without a shadow of a doubt?” “Yes,” Tom replied adamantly, even though his dream wanted to make a liar of him. “Yes, I can.
