kayla was in the bedroom pacing back and forth stressing out.

zander decides to check on kayla as he can feel her frustration and being on edge he opens the bedroom door to find kayla pacing still and lost in her own head that she didnt realise he was in the room.

"whats wrong baby?"

"nothing b****y fits, its not fair"

"you look perfect to me" zander says with a hint of admiration in his eyes.

"You can walk around all perfect and godlike meanwhile, nothing fits me and i look like a beached whale"

"baby, your not a beached whale, you look beautiful, your pregnant"

zander walks up to kayla takes her to the mirror, carressing her baby bump.

"baby, this child is in there growing, you are growing an actual little pup, i know it is not easy for you, im here to help, baby you look perfect carrying my child, you are perfect"

"you dont think i look a whale" she sniffed.

"god no, you look amazing to me, you are growing our child baby, look at you, you have been through so much, i dont deserve you" zander says with unshed tears glistening his eyes.

kayla turns around in his arms and wraps her arms around his neck.

"zander, everyone makes mistakes and sometimes the only way to overcome them is to talk and rely on someone else, you felt alone when you lost your mum, you acted out because you were afraid zan"

"i know im so sorry i f****d up, i love you and i will make it up to you, im so sorry for all ive caused you to go through, the pain. betrayal, anger, hurt, sad, all of it baby im sorry"

"its fine zander we are stronger as we go through day by day"

zander kisses kayla with all he feels for her and worships every part of her body, from head to toe, worshipping her every curve, kissing every patch of skin showing her how much he loves his queen.

meanwhile at the castle...

"who are you, girl" damon said gently.

a couple hours a go a girl showed up out of breath, bloody and beaten, close to the verge of passing out.

he offered her to come in get some food and drink and medical attention before mindlinking the alpha about her arrival.

"i am kasey, i need to keep moving, i know your my mate, but your not safe if you keep me as your mate, im not good enough"

"kasey, i will protect you, my luna and alpha are going be king and queen of all beasts, you are protected more than you think here, you will be well looked after and you will be fed, you can have a room on my floor if you dont want to share a room, please just stay"

"fine, i will stay" kasey whispered.

"you promise i will be and stay safe and hidden here. the vampire king will kill me if he even sniffs me out, especially out here, he will kill everyone to get what he wants when he wants it"
