"Daddy, there is rogues loads of them running towards the packhouse" kayla said catching her breathe, "dad please be careful, i can help". "no you are to stay here upstairs, if anything happens theres a box under my and your mums bed, take it and run, never look back, got it".

"but...but.. dad...i" her dad gave her a look daring her to disobey, she went into the kitchen as her parents leaped out of the door into their wolfs, she looked on longing for her to have her wolf, she would not tell her parents about all the bullying and torment, they never seen or smelt the blood on her back from the lashings she recieved from the alphas son, He was a real piece of work she thought to herself, many times she awoken in the hospital with nurses running around and making sure the beta never finds out what happened to Kayla. The beta would have their heads for even standing by.

The battlefield was drenched in blood and bodies for miles, Kayla was just going to the pack house to check on her parents as it has been 4 hours since the battle, what she saw made her heart clench and sick to her stomach.

Torn bodies there stomachs ripped apart by silver, the alpha and luna lying there and not far from them, there they were.

Her parents, she ran trying hold the wounds closed so they can heal tears streaming down her face as she begged the moon goddess for help, 'please, moon goddess please dont take them away'. she heard a twig snap and snarling, she turned facing this wolf, he stunk and reeked of death, rogue she whispered.

the wolf stalked towards her bearing his teeth, snarling with hatrid and taunting her.

she was shaking moving backwards begging for someone to help her.

All a sudden a man dressed in black armor was standing before her, his aura strong, who is this person, why is he here, he must be strong she thought.

She saw as he swung his sword through the air cutting through the wolfs head like it was a piece of paper, how swiftly and graceful he looked while he did it.

Soon after the Alphas son came out snarling at Kayla "What are you doing out here" "aaa....alpha, i saw the rogues coming and warned my father"

"I, Alpha james dale of the silver moon, reject you kayla marie adams as my mate and luna" he snarled.

"iiii...i kayla marie adams accept your rejection, alpha james dale as your mate and luna of the silver moon pack"

she screamed and held her chest in pain, he walked away and carried on like nothing happened.

As she was walking away she fell to the floor writhing in pain, she heard a voice asking if she was alright, she couldnt focus on anything right now, she wanted just get the box and leave.

Kayla shot up looking around she realised she was home, she grabbed the box quickly from her mothers and fathers room when she went down she was faced with the armored hero.

"Kayla, are you okay" he sounded concerned which was confusing to her ears. why would anyone be concerned about me of all people, a wolfless girl

"kayla, you need to run, run as fast as you can as far as you can, i will meet you as soon as i can" "why did i faint" she asked confused as she couldnt think straight.

as she travelled around she saw a couple at a gas station, they offered her a ride after she explained she only needed a little bit of cash to get to the next town by bus but the couple dropped her off at the station.

she found a sheriff, she couldnt tell if he was human or wolf, as it was a shared town between human and wolfs.

3 guys entered the diner, she could tell they were wolfs and as she captured their eyes she knew she wasnt welcome, she had keep moving.

she left the diner in a hurry only to be slung into a wall, her head bleeding from the force, one man had her by the throat snarling rogue in her face while she tried breathe, he felt his claws extend from his fingers piercing her neck.

few moments later the armored man caught up with her and what he saw made him panic for his life.

"I am the royal guard, steven, the queen and king will not be happy if you hurt a single hair on that head"

they dropped her to the floor, she passed out so they rushed to the hospital, nurses put her IV in her arm, checked the head wound and eventually after a few days she awoke.
