Matt went back to Dan and slipped his vest on “We’d better go or our meatloaf will be cold and that’s not good so Aunt Betty said” Dan looked amazed as Matt led him to the gate and as they left and got into the car he said “Uncle Dan what’s meatloaf anyway” Dan didn’t answer in fact he never said anything until they pulled up on the drive.
Matt we don’t say anything about what just happened or the work he’s offering right” Matt nodded “OK” Betty came out looking concerned which evaporated when she saw them both, “Meatloaf’s not cold is it Aunt Betty” said Matt “No Matt it’s not” Dan knew he had to get back to normal or she’d suspect something.
“Aunty Betty what’s all this then” Betty looked at him with her eye brows raised “It’s not Aunty just Aunt, you got a problem with that” Dan smile
