Chapter TwoStanding on the deck as the yacht moved out of Miami Harbour, Orina believed that she had escaped. From the moment that Clint Hunter had fallen stricken to the floor she had felt that she was living in a total nightmare. She imagined that he was dead and, when the servants came running into the room, they found that he was alive, but severely injured above the heart. It was a wound that was now bleeding profusely and he had been carried off to the nearest hospital. When he had gone, Orina resolutely had to face the fact that she was in a dangerous situation. She knew only too well what a story the New York newspapers would make of this saga once they knew what had happened.
