Chapter 11 The vehicle, unfortunately, didn’t belong to Sebastien. Instead, the first car passed by along with another half dozen during the next fifteen minutes, and I huddled back into my nakedness as cold expanded outward from my bones to freeze my increasingly sluggish blood. Then icicles fled in an instant. There was Sebastien’s familiar sports car rolling up the hillside toward me. There was my mate slamming the door in his haste to reach my side.
