I called Mrs. Blanchard and asked if I could sleep over at Olympia's. Once again, I anticipated that she would say no… But she just asked me if I was sure. Sure I wasn't, but I really didn't want to go back to the dorm and be forced to cross the courtyard and take the elevator just to eat in that huge, nearly empty dining room. I also felt that Olympia was being honest with me in wanting my company, not just politeness or mild sympathy. And I really enjoyed hanging out with her… She assured me that I would be welcomed at her house. In the end, the only problem I had left was Alex and how I felt about him.
