Brynn had been pacing in front of Killian’s private room for a while now; her nerves were killing her. It had been hours since his arrival, and it was night, yet he had not spoken or called for her. A part of her felt she needed to do something—needed to talk to him—or whatever was left would forever be gone and never be gotten again. She forced up her courage, giving herself the courage to knock on the door as she heard how loud it was. She waited for a few seconds before she heard a low "come in." Brynn took a breath before she turned the doorknob and walked into the room.
