BRYNN• .. Warmth … I felt warm all over. My body was held on a warm surface, as if I were floating, until gently dropped on a soft cloud, and the comforting scent slowly dissipated. The scent weakened my body to the touch, but the sudden emptiness and silence jolted me awake in panic. I expected to wake up in the darkness of the cold cell that had been my prison for hours, but instead, I found myself in a dimly lit room with soft white sheets. It was the same room where I had been placed when I first arrived at the mansion, and my body ached from the hard surface I had been lying on.
