DELILAH “I still can’t believe you don’t own a single piece of Eclipse High clothing,” I huffed at Mel. I met her at her last class as she was washing up some paintbrushes. Meg, Taylor, and Sara were meeting us out at my car to head to the packhouse before the game. I knew Mel was planning to try and get out of our plans, but I had Uncle Liam get Azeron to help us. She had a bag already waiting for her at the packhouse. “I’ve never been to a school event other than those that are mandatory during school hours and last year’s art show. It never seemed important,” Mel said. Her forest green t-shirt and faded blue jeans were cute on her, maybe a little boring, but they also matched perfectly with the opposing school for the game. “Green was not the color to wear today,” I pointed out.
