MADDOX My gaze was fixed on the official documents lying on my desk. Valen had them sent over just minutes prior, and I had to be in front of the pack in less than an hour. I adjusted the black tie around my neck. I seemed almost poetic that I would legally become Langston’s son on the day of his memorial.
