SLOAN I could only assume everyone was told to go to their desks as I walked out with Valen’s coat wrapped around me. The guy that had started to attack me was nowhere to be found. I hoped he wouldn’t be fired; it wasn’t exactly his fault that I went into heat when he was starting his work day. Not all male wolves had enough control to do what Valen did. As soon as I was in the car, I pulled the coat off, but It didn’t matter much; his scent had already rubbed off on me. I hastily drove back to the packhouse, trying to balance going as fast as I was comfortable but also not hitting anything with the car. I tried parking the car in the garage where I had found it but gave up. I would practice that when I wasn’t losing my mind thinking about Valen. I had to take the stupid coat with me,
