Missy and Maddox were to have their Alpha Ceremony and, of course, invited us. I internally groaned when Lemon bounced into the house to tell me Luna called about it. I wouldn’t tell her no. We had taken a weekend trip out to the Blackfur lake house. That one didn’t have me on edge because we were in the pack. I spoke with the patrols, and there was a little extra attention around the area so I could focus on Lemon. Then Lemon dragged me to this water park over the summer, and I thought I was going to kill someone.
