Even when you’re a friend and employee of the Luna, you can’t always score tickets to her daughter’s graduation. We had to wait to celebrate until the evening’s graduation party.
While Lea and Liam were at the ceremony with Missy and Maddox, Lily and I made sure everything was handled. Lea had outdone herself, baking Missy and each of her friends their own special cake. She had a giant banner with a photo of them all huddled together in a smiling group. If you looked close enough, though, you could see the sadness that lingered in all of them after losing one of their friends.
