This pack was super mad about Missy’s announcement. As soon as they ended the meeting, people were trying to get at all of them. Valen connected eyes with me, and I knew I was supposed to go with him, not that I was excited to do so. He maneuvered his way to his parents, leaving me to fight to follow him.
