I raced alongside Maddox back toward our pack. We passed Blood Eclipse warriors on the way that gave us no problem. Maddox was happy as we crossed into our land and were quickly greeted by our warriors. When they identified us as the Alpha and Luna, they quickly fell away, and we were barreling toward the packhouse uninterrupted.
When we got there, River came jogging out the door. “Alpha,” he called. We didn’t shift back, just stopped in front of him. Gray stood inside the doorway beyond us.
