Kade's POV After two weeks of staying in this hospital, I finally get to go home. I haven't recovered completely as of yet but Thea said. if I take proper care and avoid go to shoots for at least another week, everything should heal properly. I am not really happy about that but I can do it. My parents, Cameron and Violet are here to take me back to my parents’ house. I wanted to go to my penthouse but apparently my opinion is not being considered at all. Cameron completed the procedure and we were set to move. The nurse helped into a wheelchair and Violet grabbed my bags while my dad came behind me to push me forward. As I we were about to exit the room, Thea enters with the usual smile on her face that I have missed in couple of days. Since we had that fight a few days ago, she made her mission to avoid coming her as much as possible. She didn't want to face me and I get it. She hasn't made the decision yet and I am fine with it. I will talk with her when I am completely healed and convince her to give me another chance. "Good morning. I heard you guys are leaving so I came to check one last time until you come back the next week for a check-up", she says and smiles at everyone except for me and that's how I know, she is still angry with me.  "Thea, darling, how are you?", mom asks her while hugging her.  "I am fine Caroline. How about you?', she asks her while hugging her back.  "I am happy that my son is coming back home today", mom literally squeals like a teenager and everyone laughs.  "I am sure you are", Thea says and approaches me with hooded eyes. She smiles at my dad and gives him a hug as well. She checks my wrist and the stitches on my chest which have almost healed completely.  "You should be back on your feet in two weeks at the most", she says after she's done checking.  "Thea, you should come for dinner tomorrow. Everyone will be there and it will be really good to have you with us, just like the old times", mom says and Violet goes to stand beside Thea.  "Yeah please Thea. We have so much to catch up on. Please come", Violet pleads her and gives her the puppy dog eyes that even I can't resist at times. I have no idea, how she became a criminal lawyer. Thea looks unsure but sighs and nods her head.  "Okay, I will be there. What time do you want me to come?", she asks my mom and she tells her to be there around seven. "Okay Caroline. I will be there. I have to adjust my schedule but that's no problem at all", she says and I smile. I will finally get a chance to talk to her outside of this hospital and convince her to give me another chance to make everything right.  "That's great. I will be sure to make your favourite", mom tells her and Thea just smiles. It is no secret that my mom adores Thea, like she is her own daughter.  "We will see you tomorrow evening then", Cameron says who entered the room sometime during the conversation.  "Who invited you?", Vi says and he just laughs.  "I don't need an invitation baby girl", he says and winks at her and she just rolls her eyes. Cameron has had a thing for Vi since forever but he is afraid of me and I know that. He hasn't asked her out because he thinks I might just kill him for going after my twin sister but over the years, I have come to terms with it. I am going to tell him to ask her out if he wants. No one other than Cameron is perfect for her. I have seen her cry over stupid f**k boys so many times that I can't have her date someone who I don't know.  My train of thoughts is broken when dad starts wheeling me out to the back door as at the front, a swarm of paparazzi waiting for me.  Thea is walking with Violet, talking about something that I can't hear when my other doctor comes walking towards me.  "Guess I am a little late. Hope you feel better soon, Mr. Ryder", he says with a smile and I nod at him.  "Thank you so much for everything doctor”, my dad says, noticing my lack of communication and gratitude. I roll my eyes and rest my head back on the wheelchair. Anyone can see that; Luke likes Thea more than just a friend and a fellow doctor and this thought infuriates me. He greats Thea with a side hug which has my blood boiling. She returns his hug and they talk about my wrist and stitches. He looks at me and tells me to come on sometime next week for the check-up. I just nod my head and force a smile.  We reach the backdoor and Luke opens it for us to pass through. My car is waiting there with my PA, who smiles at me and I return it.  "Hope you are feeling better, sir", he says and I nod.  "Why are you so uptight brother. You need to let loose", Cameron says and everyone laughs making me groan. "Shut up and help me inside the car, you moron", I grunt when he picks me up by the left hand. It doesn't hurt much but my chest still aches a little.  "Take your meds on time and you will be just fine. Try not to move too much when you get home", Thea tells me and my mom nods, carefully listening to whatever she is saying. I just keep staring at her face while her lips move. I couldn't help but notice the bags under her eyes that she covered with a little makeup and the tiredness in her eyes. Even though it is just ten in the morning, she looks like she's done with her day. She needs to sleep more and take care of her. She looks thinner which makes me wonder, if she is eating properly.  "Do you understand?", she directs the question towards me and I just give her a confused look.  "You didn't hear a word I said, did you?", she asks with a small smile and I smile sheepishly. "Nope. Sorry", I say while dad lightly slaps the back of my head.  "You should listen when someone is saying something important", he scolds me as if I am a seven-year-old who didn't listen to the teacher.  "Yeah sure dad. Thanks for the heads up", I say cockily and he just grunts while others laugh.  "Thea, we need to go. There's an emergency”, Luke says and on cue their pagers start beeping.  "s**t", she curses under her breath and they excuse themselves and leave us to go attend the ER. "Let's roll, shall we?", Cameron says and everyone gets in the car.  As we leave the hospital premises, I couldn't help but look around. This is the place that I spent last two weeks and also the place that reunited me with Thea and giving me another chance at being with her and fix things. if not for that nasty fall, I wouldn't be here and I would've missed my only chance to make everything right between Thea and I. Tomorrow when she comes home for dinner, I intend to talk to her about everything and I can just hope, she will listen to everything that I have got to say and give me a real chance to be a part of her life.
