As I entered the dinning room I saw Kate and Jamie seated there and they both smiled at me as I entered. I did not see Shirley and was told that I will be meeting her tomorrow as she had stayed back at the hospital. Neither of us spoke through out the dinner as if we were fighting our own demons.
After the dinner Kate told me to follow her to the library. Jamie excused himself and went off to his room.
I sat on the sofa facing Kate and asked. “What is it Kate?”
Her dark eyes were steady. “Will you come to meet him tomorrow Lara.”
“I'm not sure I want to see him again as today everything came black in flashes and I am in ocean of emotional turmoil.” I told her honestly.
