“Everything’s looking good,” the doctor told Joshua as he finished taking his vitals, “Are you certain you were shot?” “I do remember it vividly and the pain that came with it, but when I look at the wound, I doubt my memory,” Joshua muttered as he rubbed his chest where nothing remained but a red scar that ached a little when he touched it. “I’ll admit, your case has made me question everything I know since you lost quite a lot of blood,” the doctor nodded, “Any idea what happened after you were shot?” “No, I haven’t had the time to figure that out yet,” Joshua shrugged. “No worries,” the doctor muttered, clearly displeased with the answer, “Well, I don’t see any reasons to hold you here much longer, since everything looks fine.
