It was so warm around me. I was in a giant burrito, a lightly heated tortilla, and I couldn't even move, not that I wanted to anyway.
Taking a deep breath, I could smell something masculine with a twist of pine. Letting out a long, loud sigh, I could hear chuckling in front of my face. No longer was I comfortable, but seemingly embarrassed.
Looking up, I see the cheesiest grin of a man as intimidating as Jack could be. His eyes were sparkling, and I couldn't help but smile back. "JACK!" I screamed and hugged him tightly. I nuzzled my nose in the crook of his neck, and he did the same. His hands wrapped around my torso and brought me close, afraid to let go.
"I missed you so much, Kitten," his voice hitched.
"I missed you too, Jack, no more leaving me, OK?" I sobbed.
