“Can you hear yourself right now? You want me to leave my own home and go to yours. How would you say a thing like that?” I asked him, already feeling my anger boiling up.
“Calm down, Gattina. I just... The thoughts of leaving you and Damien behind hurts so much, and I really can't imagine life without you both. I have grown to always have you beside me, and I really can't cope without you both being with me. Please, Gattina, come with me.” he said, pleading with his eyes, but I won't get deceived by them.
“You must really be insane if you think I will just pack my bags and also that of my son and just leave with you? Hell no. If you have to leave then it's fine, you can leave. Alone. And that's final.” I said and walked out of the house.
