I turned to look at Luciano to confirm if what I heard Damien said was true.
I saw the tears rolling down his eyes myself. He is actually crying. Luciano is crying.
But why is he crying? This is so unreal. Never in my wildest dream have I ever thought I would see him cry ever. What exactly is the main reason why he will cry?
I began to feel concerned. I stood up and walked to where he was with Damien.
“Luciano are you okay? Why are you crying? Did something happen?” I asked him.
“I am so sorry, Gattina. I promised to protect you both, but look what happened. You both were attacked right under my roof, which I thought would protect you both. I am deeply sorry for failing to keep to my promise.” he apologized.
