The more I listened to him, the more strange I felt… Killing wasn’t necessary but they did it to feel like they were living… it was such a concept I couldn’t grasp…
“Tell me why aren’t you scared? Is it because you’re a hunter?” Daniel asked me that strange question again but even I didn’t understand it myself… why wasn’t I scared of him?
Even after he told me such an absurd thing as being a vampire, even after he cut himself in front of me to prove it, even caught me safely after I jumped from that building… All these things that further showed me he wasn’t human, but they also showed me he cared about me… He never once hurt me and even now he’s holding back from getting too close out of fear…
