Andre Fuma thought it a wicked storm coming down from Canada. The March storm skirted across Lake Erie and b***h-slapped his small town of Templeton. Snow blew in circles around his violet Jeep Wrangler, licking at its metal and plastic exterior. The wind howled as the temperature dropped below twenty, falling and falling as the seconds dwindled. Nightfall was soon approaching, and he had to get home, suffering from night-blindness, or nyctalopia; a rare diagnosis for Andre by Dr. Edmond Fitzgerald when he was a boy of eight, a condition he still suffered from.
