I was cleaning my glasses while I was researching my homework. I have myopia and everything will be blurry if I don't have my glasses on. Harry did pester me to have contact lenses so I bought a pair and I only wear them in school.
I yawned and stretched my limbs then closed the book and computer when my phone rang. It was Clarence, Harry's friend, calling. I am more close to Harry's friend compare to my classmates because I don't hangout with them and Harry never allows me to hangout with anyone without him and I don't really mind. I am not fond of hangouts and stuff. It only bores me to dead that I'd rather stay home and sleep.
"Clarence." I answered the call and I could hear other people's voices in the background and also Harry's voice.
"Hey, Jean. We're in Harry's place. Wanna join us with our movie marathon night? C'mon, it Sunday tomorrow."
I scratched my head and looked at the pajama I was wearing. I was about to go to sleep.
"Don't think about saying no. We're not going to start if you don't show up. See you!" Clarence ended the call leaving my mouth open for the words I was about to say.
"Really?" I muttered then sighed looking at my phone.
I went downstairs and saw mom and dad watching television together in the couch while cuddling.
"Mom, dad. I'm going to spend the night at Harry's." I said.
"Okay, sweety." Mom said and dad just nodded in approval.
They also treats Harry and Lian, Harry's older brother, as a part of the family so they never really ask so much every time I went to the other house.
I wore my slippers then crossed the street, walking to the house in front of ours and Clarence was waiting inside the gate, grinning as he opened it for me.
"Nice pj's." He said.
I just smiled and he threw his arm around the back of my shoulders as we walked to the front door.
Miguel and Calvin welcome me when they saw me walking with Clarence.
"Where's Harry?" I asked.
"Kitchen." Miguel said and then I heard some popping sounds from the kitchen. "Doing the popcorns."
"Oh."
They were setting the living room, disarranging the couches and laying a huge foam on the floor and they also have cans of beer.
I went to the kitchen and saw Harry almost done with the popcorns.
"Is aunt and uncle not home?" I asked as I helped him with mixing the cheese powder on the popcorns.
"They went back to the country. They'll be back tomorrow." Harry said and smiled. "Don't worry. They know about this."
I nodded and felt relive that aunt and uncle knew about that gathering. We carried three bowls of popcorns to the living room.
Calvin was searching for movies to watch as I placed the bowl of popcorn on the couch.
"Don't choose films with x-rated scenes." Harry said making Clarence pout then looked at me.
"All movies have one. We know you don't want to dirty Jean's eyes. Are you his mother?" Clarence said making me chuckle.
"Yeah. So over protective. Don't you know that innocent and good guys like Jean will always fall for the bad guys?" Miguel said and Harry smacked his head.
"Bad guys, your ass. I will never let that happen."
I just shook my head while smiling.
Of course, I am aware how Harry was so over protective to me. He was always like that since we were young because I was sickly and frail before. I already gut used to it and having someone to protect you isn't bad at all.

I frowned when I saw Curtis scratching his crotch and the smelled his fingers.
"Smells good?" I asked and he laughed.
"Yeah. Wanna smell too?" He leaned his hand closer to me making me leaned back and smacked his arm away.
"Back off. Your balls smells like shit."
"How d'you know?" He smirked and I was fighting myself not to hit his head on the table.
Curtis and I waited for all the humans to get out of the room, storming out like the world was ending.
"You're going home this weekend?" Curtis asked.
"Maybe."
"Your dad will fly here if you don't." Curtis chuckled.
I chuckled.
True, I could picture dad flying here and drag me back to the pack land. It was dad who made that rule. No matter who you're with or where you are, if it's your birthday, you should celebrate it together with family in the pack land.
"I guess you, too."
Curtis' birthday will be this Saturday and mine will be this Sunday. We were almost born at the same day if Curtis just didn't went out too early. Curtis is the second son of the current beta of the pack while I am also the second son of the alpha and ever since we were young, we were inseparable. It was Curtis who gave me the pet name Dos.
Curtis nodded. "Of course. Mom will hang upside down me if I don't."
I smiled and stepped out of the room but halted when I almost hit someone who was on his way inside the room.
It was the small boy that Curtis called
"Gatita!" Curtis exclaimed.
The man was surprised to see me suddenly in front of him, towering him and he was even more surprised when heard Curtis' voice from behind me.
The man looked like he didn't know what to do so he just smiled at Curtis but deep inside, he was wondering what the hell gatita means and why does Curtis always calls him that.
"What's your name again?" Curtis asked. I know Curtis likes small and cute people. He adores them like a pup. Almost all of his flings were short girls so it was obvious that he was interested to the clueless man in front of us.
"Jean." He said.
"Ah, June. Nice name."
The man was about to say something but he only closed his mouth and just smiled innocently.
"I'm Curtis and this is Dos."
The man nodded and pulled the ledger on his chest.
"Do you need help?" Curtis asked.
"Uh, no. I only have to pass this to Prof."
Curtis pulled the ledger from June. "C'mon, we already know each other. Let me help you pass this." Curtis handed me the ledger and motioned his hand to pass it myself to our Prof then he smiled at the helpless June.
"You dare do this to your alpha." I smacked the ledger to Curtis' head making him chuckle.
"I'm sorry." Curtis said.
