"Do you have plans this weekend?" Dos asked. We were heading to our last class of the day.
I paused and thought about what I plan to do tomorrow. I was thinking of inviting Duane to watch a movie or something like that but I don't know what were his plans yet since he is a graduating student, maybe he would be busy with his research and studies.
"I don't know." I said.
"I would like to invite Jean to hangout in the dorm. I thought Duane will take you somewhere."
"So you're planning on monopolizing Jean, huh. Why not hang in his house instead?"
"His parents will be home this weekend."
I grinned at Dos. "So, you're at third base already. You're really fast."
"Aren't you also?"
"Not really. Look, our project in chem, Duane said he'll help. He's kinda good with those things." I said.
"Really? That's great!" Dos exclaimed in excitement.
We never really had plans on doing that chem project but Duane found out about it and he happens to excel with those kind of things.
I sighed in relief when Dos stopped talking about our mates and those bases as we walked to our class.

Duane wasn't waiting outside the campus like he does everyday so I was kind of disappointed and down just when I felt my phone vibrated in my pocket.
My eyes lit up seeing Duane's name in the screen and messaged me about fetching something in a watch boutique because he got caught up over something in school. He did said that he had a watch getting fixed. I even told him to buy a new one but he insisted on fixing it because it held a meaning to him.
I went back to the dorm to change my clothes and went out to wait for the bus. The boutique Duane said was a one ride away from uni. It has been a while since I ride a bus since Duane wanted me to take a public transportation saying he would be there to fetch me.
I was looking forward on seeing him so I rushed to the place afraid that they would close early. I went inside the shop and a young man in his early twenties greeted me as he helped me open the door.
"A friend had his watch repaired here under Mr. Winter's name." I said and the man smiled as he nodded his head like he already knew who I was talking about.
"Please, sir." He politely said as he motioned his hand towards the counter where an old man was arranging some expensive looking watches in the display glass. The man guided me to the counter.
The old man smiled at me as he greeted me politely and he reached something down the glass display. He gave me a rectangular box and a white paper was attached.
"Mr. Winter already paid everything and he also left a note." The old man said.
"Thank you." I said as I flipped the folded note.
Go to the flower boutique in front of the watch boutique and mention to the florist my name, was what the note reads.
I looked ahead as I went out of the watch boutique and saw a flower shop making me frown.
"What are you trying to do Mr. Winter?" I muttered to myself while I couldn't hide the smile that was resurfacing on my lips.
I crossed the road and peeked inside the boutique and the man who was cutting the stem of roses saw me looking. He stood up and opened the door for me.
"Good evening sir, what can I help you?" The man asked. He was in his early thirties.
"Uh, did Mr. Winter left something here?" I asked and he smiled when he heard Duane's name.
"Yes, he did. Please excuse me for a while."
I nodded and looked around the boutique. It was full of flowers in different shades and some potted flowers were also arranged on a rack. I didn't see any staff in the boutique other than that man. I turned around when I heard the man was back with a bouquet of red and white flowers in his arm and a letter was slipped inside the flowers.
The man handed me the flowers. "Here."
"Thank you." I said as I received it and I could smell the fragrant of the flowers. The bouquet was screaming the color red.
I didn't know the names of the flowers but I do remember that every flower has it's meaning.
"What do you call these flowers? I heard they have meaning too, right?"
The man smiled at me. "These are called Chrysanthemum." He pointed the two red blooming flowers at the center. "It means I love you, and these---" He pointed the other red pointed flowers. "are called Salvia means forever mine, and the red Tulips means passion, a declaration of love. These only white flowers are called Yarrow which means everlasting love." The florist said and I didn't know what to say.
"Ouh. Those meanings are deep." I awkwardly chuckled.
"Indeed and Mr. Winter personally chooses these flowers knowing their meanings." He said and I could feel my face heating up.
I couldn't believe Duane seriously chooses all these flowers. How cheesy he could be?
I thanked the florist and walked out of the boutique as I picked the letter in between the flowers.
Facing the flower boutique, turn left and walk twenty-two steps. Go inside the shop and show the staff the coupon.
I read the red rectangular coupon that was inside the envelop together with the letter. It reads Winter in ice blue ink. I couldn't help but chuckle at what Duane was doing.
"How could you do something this childish?" I muttered as I shook my head and started walking the twenty-two steps.
I stopped in front of an expensive boutique for suits. I could see only one costumer inside the boutique so I welcomed myself in and I was immediately entertained by a salesman in suit.
He greeted me and asked what kind of suit I wanted. I gave him the coupon and he stared at it for a while before he nodded at me and guided me inside the boutique.
The salesman let me sit and wait as he walks away to get whatever Duane was up to. I placed the flowers beside me as I stood up to look around. I picked a navy blue suit that was hanged on one of the racks and looked for the price.
I almost dropped it seeing the four digits price just when the salesman showed up again and gave me a set of suits and a letter, again and it says wear this.
I looked at the salesman. "I should wear these?" I asked.
"Was what Mr. Winter said."
