I was enjoying being a traitor friend. I called for Duane because Curtis was starting to become a bad liar. He sucks at lying especially when it comes to Duane. Thinking about it, I was acting like cupid to my friends yet I couldn't even dare to go near my own mate. So lame.
I did say that I wouldn't be back so Curtis and Duane would have the whole night. I didn't know where to go. At first, I was thinking of spending the night at the dojo but my mind suddenly changed at the last minute. I made a U-turn and speed up to the place I was thinking with no room of changing my mind.
I would call myself chicken if I change my mind.
I stopped in front of June's house and stayed inside the car for a few minutes thinking what to do when another car parked behind mine. The driver went out and knocked on the window.
"Are you waiting for someone?" The man asked after I rolled down the window.
"Uh, yeah. June." I blurted out. I could see that he looked like June especially the shape of his face. Must be his father.
"Oh, Jean? Are you his friend? Why didn't you knock?"
"I forgot to inform him. I was in a hurry."
"Then I'll call him. You should have knocked and not stay here looking like a stalker." He said making me laugh.
I might consider myself a stalker.
I went out of the car and walked after June father's car that he drove to their parking.
"I'm Jean's father, Noah." Noah extended his hand for a handshake and Dos shook it.
"Dos. It's really good meeting you sir."
"It's my first time seeing you. Are you a new friend of Jean?" He asked as they walked to the front door and I could see that he was scanning me and I was a little taller than him.
"Yeah. You could say that. I... I really like your son." I said and he chuckled.
"Who wouldn't like him?" He proudly said as he opened the front door and a cozy house welcomed me and the intoxicating smell of my mate that woke up Remus.
"Yeah."
Noah let me sit on the couch as he calls for June and I was rummaging my mind of what to say to June. He went there without saying anything first which was an ass move.
I could hear June's sleepy voice from his room and it sounded so cute it was making me smile. I stood up when my mate's scent grew stronger and I could hear his footsteps. My heart suddenly jumped in a fast speed.
I smiled when I met June's eyes and he was surprised to see me inside his house in an unexpected hour and I, too, was surprised to see June in eyeglasses. He was too cute that I was restraining myself from throwing myself to him.
"D-Dos?" June called, surprised.
"Hi." I smiled and cleared my throat to calm myself, especially Remus.
June hastily went down the stairs. "What are you doing here? How did you know where my house is?"
"I'm sorry, I came in without notice." I said and June shook his head.
"It's fine. Do you need something from me?" June asked and I somehow, his eyes just wouldn't meet mine.
"Yes. I have a favor." I said. "Can I stay the night here?"
I know what I am doing was torture but fvck it.

I wrapped my head with the blanket to block my mate's scent but it was useless. I did insist to sleep only in the living. I was fine with the couch but Noah insisted to sleep in June's room because it would be cold in the living room and it was a torture for me.
It was killing me and I was trying to calm Remus down because he was losing it also.
I tossed and turned on the foam and then stopped when I felt that June was still awake since his breathing wasn't even yet. Could it be that he too can't sleep? Maybe because someone else other than him was in his room.
"A-Are you okay there?" I threw the blanket around my head and saw June looking at me from the bed.
"Yes. Thanks for letting me sleep here." I smiled and Remus was saying to pounce into him, mark him and make him ours.
He was crazy.
"Hmm." He nodded and laid back on the bed.
"Were you sleeping already when I showed up? I'm so sorry." I said. I should be shutting my mouth and let him sleep but I wanted to talk to him.
I thought he was the not so talkative guy. Who would thought that he was sweet and caring also.
"I was about to go to bed. It's fine. We should sleep already." He said.
"Yeah. Good night, mate." I froze my lips after releasing those words. It just blurted out of my mouth.
"Good night, Dos."
After getting used of my mate's scent, it wasn't killing my nose anymore but more like soothing and it lulled me to sleep.

I woke up when I heard noises downstairs. My nose smelled something good and I was surprised to see June sleeping inside my arms, using my left arm as his pillow and my right arm was wrapped around his tiny body.
I didn't recall getting up and sneaking into the bed, then I thought of Remus. It was his doing and I like what he did this time. I never felt this happy that my heart was racing so fast.
Waking up with my mate was the happiest thing that happened to me.
June mumbled something in his sleep and I couldn't help but sob silently seeing how cute my mate was. I made the right choice of not staying in the dojo.
I was staring at June's face without blinking, memorizing every inch of his face and my eyes wouldn't stop visiting his slightly parted pinkish lips. I was fighting from not losing myself when I smelled a familiar scent inside the house.
Footsteps were rushing on the second story of the house and then I heard Harry, June's friend, calling.
I knew that Harry introduced himself as June's boyfriend but I wasn't buying it. C'mon, it was so obvious that he was only trying to make us believe because he doesn't like us and he has a complex of my mate.
I gently pulled away from June and laid him properly on the bed. I walked to the door and opened it before Harry could knock and wake my mate.
Harry was surprised to see me, not because he doesn't know I was there. He was a were like me and he was in hurry because he knew I was inside his precious friend's room.
He was surprised seeing me in my half were form glaring at him with glowing eyes.
