Alpha's claim

chapter 3

Rose POV

I was about to go for a run when Alpha Jace's mind linked me. 

"Little b***h bring coffee for our guests immediately. "

I sighed and turned back to the packhouse. Preparing coffee was not my favorite thing to do. I never liked being in the kitchen anyway. My cooking skills are not that good either. I didn’t want to meet those guests either. My father is with them and they are now taking my only friend.

Heading towards alpha's office Hazel was urging me. She was excited. I didn't know why, so I ignored her. Walking carefully so I won't spill the coffee, I reached my destination. The moment I opened the door, I was hit by the sweetest smell ever. I immediately knew it was my mate's.

I looked up to see a pair of black eyes staring intensely at me. He looked like a Greek god. I could hear Hazel purring from his sight but he looked angry. It was clear that he wasn't the least bit happy. instead of staring lovingly at me like I always thought my mate would, he was throwing daggers at me with his eyes.

He stood up and walked towards me.

"Well well, I never thought I'd meet my mate in this pack. I shouldn't have come." He said in a calm voice. And damn his voice was amazing. But his words stung like a thousand needles piercing my heart. 

I shrunk back. I was hurt. I didn't think that my mate; who I was desperate to meet; didn't want me. I looked up and I saw Miley staring daggers at me as if I killed her puppy. Then when I looked at alpha Jace he was clearly mad. I quickly put the plate on the table next to me and left the office running. 

It felt like my world was falling piece by piece. I could hear someone running behind me, but I didn't bother to look back. I reached the forest, ready to go for a run. The moment I removed my shirt I heard a growl behind me.

Startled I looked back and saw him; my mate, looking at me with dark eyes clearly angrier than before.

"This is the last time you try to run away from me little mate," he said getting close to me.

" But you don't want me. You said you didn't need me." I said hurt. Saying those words was so painful.

"I might not want you but my wolf needs you. I can't afford to become weak. You are to stay by my side until I fully mate with the other girl and to make her my Luna. Until my pack and my wolf accept her. Then I will gladly kill you and get rid of you. " his voice was poisonous and he clearly wasn't lying.

I tried to run again but he caught me and pulled me back to him roughly. I could feel the sparks exploding between us it felt good but at the same time, painful. 

" didn't I tell you not to run mutt. I have neither the time nor patience to keep up with this s**t. Be a good girl come with me I've already been through enough s**t for today."

Before I could utter a word, he was dragging me back towards the packhouse.

When we arrived we were greeted by Alpha Jace Miley our beta and clearly his.

"I will be taking both of them. I agree with the treaty.  I will have this girl with me until I fully make Miley my Luna, and then I will kill her. Do you have a problem with that Alpha Jace."

I could see the surprise on his beta's face. Miley somehow looked happy, she had a Sinister smile drawn on her lips and Alpha Jace looked calm.

I couldn't believe that my only friend would be happy to hear about my death. I mean it hurts enough to know that's my mate doesn't want me and now my only friend wants me dead too.

I try to wriggle out of his grip but I couldn't. He was way taller than me and way stronger. I could feel the tears running down my cheeks.

He was cold-hearted a monster.

" I clearly cannot oppose you alpha Noah. You can take both of them and do whatever you please with them as long as you keep my pack safe."

I knew Alpha Jace hated me but I couldn't believe he would throw me away to my death without a second thought. 

With that Noah dragged me towards his car, which was parked nearby. I try to wriggle out of his grip I started screaming but he pushed me down on the ground and hovered over me.

He looked like he was ready to kill me.

He got closer to me until I could feel his breath on my cheek.

" if I hear your voice mutt I will snap your neck. Are we clear?"

I couldn't help but nod. I was weaker than him and the pain from being rejected made me even weaker.

With that he stood up he didn't wait for me to do the same he continued dragging me as soon as he stood up until we reached the car. Then he shoved me in. My head hit a metal box that was placed in the car and my vision turned black.
