Cody sucked in a deep breath. Well, that didn’t exactly work, but at least I didn’t have to suffer through an entire two day cycle.
He considered going about his normal routine of getting dressed, but instead stayed in bed. Why bother trying? They’d managed to learn that Captain Talbot was the demon, and incredibly powerful, but Hayden was killed that time around.
And maybe Adam and Rice. I was a lot of help.
What if I’m the only one able to die and come back? What if Hayden is truly gone? He felt anxious and wanted to throw up.
