I walked back to my room and paced around, with so many thoughts buzzing in my head. I couldn't tell if what I was about to do was actually the right thing, but I knew I had to make a drastic decision if that pregnancy was actually mine.
I knew I couldn't let the child be delivered out of wedlock because that would label him or her as illegitimate, and that wouldn't be a good idea. With a heavy sigh, I sat on the bed and closed my eyes, trying to see if I could communicate with my wolf, but he was as quiet as he had always been.
Sighing heavily, I made a mind link to the head maiden, asking her to come to my chambers, and she arrived a minute later. “My lord, you sent for me," she said, and I remained silent, pondering in thoughts before finally speaking.
