Things had been going relatively well this past week and although Zoey was finding college life tolerable, she was enjoying her home life. Justin was far less awkward, however, at times he would do this thing that Zoey had now labeled, brooding. She didn’t like it but chose to ignore it. Otherwise, Justin was proving himself to be quite a joker and she enjoyed laughing with him. Her friendship with both Cane and Marvin had also blossomed and it made her feel like now that Justin had stepped out of the shadows, it seemed to make everyone a lot more relaxed and at ease.
