My mom walked away, shutting the door behind her. After a few minutes of solitude with myself, there was a low knock on my door. "Come in!!" I said, not knowing when the word came out of my lips. My eyes shot red to see the person before me. "What is this old skunk doing here? Isn't he supposed to be outside with his duly beloved wife? Why is he coming into my room?"
