Owen handed Hector his rifle and took a deep breath, trying to calm his thudding heart and regain control of jittery nerves. He"d been in firefights before, and they always left him shuddering. Killing men, even when it was necessary, was bad business and he didn"t like it, especially when he was the one dealing out the death. He went over to the side, away from the others to take a minute alone and collect himself. There would be dreams regarding this ambush in the future – there always were - and he wasn"t looking forward to them.
