"I am not asking you to open your legs so I can f*** you right now Ruby. I am asking you to strip, wear what your maid prepared, and go to sleep." Oh.. "I-Oh." He turns around and takes another sip of that liquor. "Go to bed Ruby, now." My body always obeyed his command even before my eyes could register. I sniff once before walking to the power room beside the bedroom, not before grabbing my nightwear. Lydia had prepared a hot bath for me. I took a short bath and brushed my hair before wearing that nightgown. When I looked at myself in the mirror my stomach twisted. "Why Lydia? You little brat-" That was quite a revealing nightgown. My breasts weren't as visible but clearly out there. I assume she did it because she thought the same as me. I was utterly embarrassed. The dress had long sleeves but it was quite frankly a bit see-through. However much I did not wish to wear it, it was this or my morning petticoat whose hem was covered in mud. I wrapped myself in the shawl kept near the bath and walked out. The candles had been blown out except for the ones beside the bed. King Xerxes was nowhere to be seen. Perhaps he was out. I quickly got in bed as the cold air did not allow me to stay out and snuggled in the warm bedsheet. It was after a while that I heard the door open and closed. I heard the locks and soon the space beside me dipped. I felt the freezing cold air sneak in as the bedsheet was lifted and he lay there with my back to him. Even if he was far, I could feel his warmth. I felt like I could feel his hands on me. It was the silence that frustrate me. I wondered if I would ever have an honest normal conversation with him. A friend and husband before my King. I was asking for too much. I suck in a deep breath as he moved and curled his hand around my waist pulling me into him. He was so warm. His bare chest touched my back it was like burning coal. I gulp fussing in my head. I was in bed! with a stranger! A man at that. "Calm down, You are shivering." He whispered and I realized I was shivering this whole time. Perhaps these people were so used to the weather they didn't care. "S-sorry." "I do not like you apologizing for such menial things Ruby." "Sorry-" I realized my mistake but my fussy self kept repeating my mistake, "Oh. Sorry-" " Shut up." He groans pulling me closer. He nuzzled his face in my neck and I almost moan at that feeling. His hand stayed right under my breasts, his other hand under my head. His torso was pressed against my back and I had no way out of this feeling. I felt myself getting tingles down there. I had no understanding of these feelings I could only stay quiet and love it. "Madam.." Lydia's voice run in my ears and I turned around hugging the blanket closer as the cold air touched my skin. "Madam it is morning, you will be late for breakfast." I opened my eyes and stayed there for a moment until I realized where I was. Not my room that's for sure. Last night's events run through my mind and blush. "Careful Ma'am." Lydia helped me out of the bath and wrapped my body in the cotton cloth. "I hope you packed a comfortable dress for me, Lydia, If I have to sit for hours I'd do it in a simple dress." She nodded smiling. "Forgive me for not packing an extra coat on hand, I had your white coat taken out of the luggage. I was told this morning the mountains are expecting snow." "Snow?! But its still autumn" "Oh well, we are going across the tallest mountains, It starts snowing in the middle of August usually." I sigh wearing my petticoat and turning around so she could lace it up. She gave me my sage green dress and laced it up from the back and did my hair finishing it off with a white ribbon in my hair. "Uh-Madam, do I need to take the sheets off?" She looked at me like I did something. I blush staring at her and slowly shook my head. "N-No! nothing happens!" She held back her laughter and nodded, bowing one before leaving me be. I look at the bed and wonder when King Xerxes woke up. Last night he held me so tight I swear I have never felt so...so different before. The sort of tingling I got in me, I felt like my body had butterflies hopping around. I make my way down the stairs to the dining room with Lydia behind me. She leads me to a balcony on the first floor reserved for us. The guards opened the door and I see King Xerxes with his back to us talking with Sir Andrew. He snapped at me and he looked back with a natural look. "This way Your Highness." said one of the maids and I smiled sitting down at the table and looking out at the scenic view I have some tea looking at the two exceptionally large men. In fact, all of the soldiers were easily towering over us, humans. But King Xerxes and Sir Andrew had something about them that induced a natural fear in all. Perhaps the fact that they were werewolves. "Eat well, it will be cold as we travel up the mountain." I nodded as King Xerxes sat next to me before saying that. I wanted to have a conversation. Maybe ask him if he has breakfast or what he liked but I couldn't quite bring myself to do so. I felt as if talking to him in public might ruin his reputation of being a serious man. "More tea ma'am?" Lydia asked and I nodded. She looked at the servant. One of them, a young man walked towards us and gave me a new cup pouring me more tea. The wind suddenly blew across the balcony shaking the table wear and the boy himself as he stumbled with his hands and the tea fell on my hand. I whip my hand away at the sudden burn causing the man to gasp and set the pot down bowing. "Forgive me, your highness. Forgive me, Alpha King, I-I didn't-" "It's alright-" My voice was greatly overshadowed by King Xerxes. "Get out!" I flinch as he grabbed my hand watching the poor man walk away and I frown. The young man bowed and stumbled to get back up before walking away in fear. My eyes stare at King Xerxes in sadness as the king dipped his kerchief in water and rest it over my hand. I couldn't speak when he was angry. I only look at the boy as he disappeared into the hall. "Shall we change the teacup, I apologize-" "It's quite alright, I will take it to form here thankyou." Sir Andrew stepped in as the owner tried to make it better. Sir Andrew gestured if I wanted another tea and smiled stopping him before taking the Teapot myself and pouring the tea into a new cup. I ate some light breakfast before we departed.
