Andrea was shocked to hear that Rhonda was in town. She must’ve asked Case a thousand times if he was sure she hadn’t called ahead. It just seemed so odd for her to show up like that. He said he was positive—she hadn’t said a word.
At dinner that night, she insisted they go someplace nice. Case hadn’t been able to get reservations at such late notice for any of the five star restaurants in town. He just wasn’t famous enough.
