“Girl, please let us go .” my roommate who at the same time doubles as my best friend pleaded with me for about the tenth time but the truth was I not ready for the kind of thing that she was telling me to do . there was no way that I was going to that beach party what’s so ever she was going to say .

That life that she is trying to impose on me is not the kind of life that I lead . I most cases like my life when I have to remain in doors other than moving around. All the times that I have tried to do that , I end up not liking anything like that .

“Come on Rain , you don’t have to fear anything at all. it is snot going to be anything else apart from just enjoying everything the music and the waters.” Natasha went on ti sweet talk me with her usual talks .

For sure I have no reason why she has not in the past been able to just give up since every time she tries to persuade me , she end up failing . All the times she tried to have me go with her . I ended up doing it only once .

“Nats, you don’t have to wait for me , I am obviously not going with you and you know that .” I told her the obvious answer that I had every time and I wished she would take it and let me go as I really did not want to go .

That was not the kind of life that I wanted to lead at all. I never really want to go out and meet many of those crazy friends of hers who are always like they have some demons that are controlling them and making them di all those crazy things that they do .

My favorite spot is me on the coach with my popcorn in hand and watching all the romance movies that I can possibly get on Netflix. It is my favorite game other than everything else that is happening . but now with what she is telling me, I can not even possibly think about anything else .

“What the hell is wrong with you ?” he she sounding anger and she moved away from the mirror where she had spent the last ten minutes styling her hair but then she kept removing it is not okay until this point .

“What the hell is wrong with you ? I have made it clear several times that I don’t want anything to do with you .” I insisted. For sure I was even beginning to get irritated by how she was not leaving me alone.

In a blink of an eye, she had moved around and then sat beside me on the couch near me and then went an extra mile and threw her hand around my shoulder before she pulled me closer towards her .

“I have tried so many times but all in all nothing has happened. You should all this that you are doing . You need move away from the world that you are trying to live in . stand up , dress in your beautiful clothes and get out to the world-enjoy life .”

Of course those were the same words that she used to tell me daily so there was no importance of repeating her self since I was not going to take any of it what so ever .

“Nats, just get up and go . I am not going with you .” I made it clear to her . I was about to get up and go away when her phone suddenly started ringing .

I had to get it since it was on my side of the seat and then gave to her . A wide smile formed on her face as she looked at the screen to see who the caller was.

I obviously understood the caller – it was only him who had the ability to make her smile the way she was smiling .

“Hey baby.” She said the smile on her face getting even wider . she kept quiet for some time and then went on.

“No no , am so sorry I will not be able to come today . we have a girl’s afternoon and that is where I am heading now .” she replied.

“Okay , I will see you tomorrow.” She finally said and then looked at me with a smile saying ;

“That was Chad .”she informed me. Of course I knew it was him . He was the only one who was able to make her smile the way she was doing it.

“Oh” I replied single handedly. It was the only thing that managed to get out of my mouth.

With hearing his mane, there was almost a way that I felt that I up to this point was not able to put a name to. The two of us have never even had a conversation alone since we say one word or two to the other every time when of course my best friend is part of the us.

“What is wrong ?” Natasha asked me. She must have noticed that there was a slight change in me when she talked about her boyfriend.

“Nothing …I think you need to get ready for your party plus the time is going .” I knew that the only thing that I had to do was to change the topic as I was not ready for any interrogations.

“Okay , I think I will do that .” she replied as she got up heading back to the mirror to do what she was doing what she was in the mirror.

All that I did was just to wait patiently for her to go out so that I could have all the house to myself. She will not be here to try to drag me around.

By the way , I have not yet told you about my self. My name is Zoe Rains aged 20 years . I am in colleg standing journalism along side my best friend Natasha though most of the times I call her Nats.

Just like you heard earlier from my best friend, I am some one who hates out doors apart from whne am heading to college. Nats has been doing so much to see that I can get to go out with her but of course she has ever been successful.

She goes ahead and says this is the reason why I dint have a boyfriend.
