We felt secure knowing that the renegades who were covertly aiding the rogues had been imprisoned. The chef was the most shocked by the news. I didn’t blame him. The person he believed to be special to him was really using him for something far more sinister. After looking into it, we could not locate any proof that the chef was involved in the betrayal. However, Theo commanded that the food be tested for poisons before serving.
