Mated

As soon as i faced him, i could see it, it was like a chord of majestic colors lacing us together; looking into his eyes were like looking into his soul, I could see he has been longing for me, as i have for him.

Everyone was standing still as if something out of this world had just happened. 

"Lena" it was Anya "why are you glowing? 

her voice sounding distant.

i was standing in front of him, my thoughts running wild as i recall the witches words.

"she already met her mate" was what she had say, 

not being able to contain myself i brought his lips to mine, it was like fireworks exploded from us, the power intensified and i could feel him wrapping his arms around me. our mind became one, i could hear his thought and he could hear mine. i didn't exactly know how this was possible but it was, it was happening, we were becoming one in mind and in soul. I was the other half of his heart and he was mine.

"I am sorry" he apologized, only they weren't words, we were mentally communicating.

i gasped "how is this possible" i asked, not realizing i had also used my mind

" Its the bond" he responded "

I smiled, I was never happier, i had found my Mate, my other half, i was now complete.

it took us a while to leave each other arms.

A laugh escaped my mouth as i turned to see the astounded faces of those surrounding us.

"what the hell just freaking happ" was about to ask Anya her voice trailing off 

"you!" she hissed pointing in Jason's direction "what the hell did you just do to my sister" "how dare you walk out of her life and then come back using magic on her" 

not understanding what had happen, my sister allowed her anger to take over, i could see her intentions and she was ready, ready to eliminate whatever threaten the princess and to her that threat was him, Jason.

I could se Matt trying to stop her but it was too late, she begun her attack, Anya was racing towards Jason ready to pounce. I knew he would not harm my sister but she was blinded with rage and i knew she would not stop until she reached her target, so i did the only thing i could do to protect her from starting a war and my mate from dying.

i stood in front of Jason waiting for the impact, Anya was inches away from tearing me to pieces when suddenly out of nowhere a power was released and mys sister went flying into the wall.

i turned to Jason but he seemed to be as astound as i was, but i felt it, we both released the power, it was as if our bodies responded to to the attack be defending itself it was then that I realized that the witch once again was right, Jason and I together will make the world tremble.

"Anya" called out Matt  running to his mate side "are you alright" 

i made my way to my sister's side "I am sorry sis, I couldn't help it" i cried "you were going to attack him and I couldn't allow it" "and the power, the power came out of nowhere, please sissy forgive, i couldn't allow you to hurt my mate"

the room went silent.

"Mate" she said getting up  

"hows that possible?" "he, he is a vampire" she stuttered 

"what are you talking about" questioned Andre "we can only mate with, were wolves and humans even witches, but we cannot mate with Vampires" 

Jason told the story about an pure blooded vampire and a common enemy would protect the world, how they believed it was his father and the high witch he fell in love with were that of the prophecy, he told us  how the council was formed, about how they allowed the vampire and the witch to marry but forbade them to procreate.

"no one knew why the Witch broke the law, but she seduced the vampire and gave him a son, he said 

"my mother was removed from the council and thrown out of her home, even the coven loathed her for what she had done." "

"eighteen years ago, she summoned me , she told me she had receive a visit from a werewolf couple seeking her to save their dying child, my mother performed a ritual using the blood of an ancient vampire, my fathers blood and with that saved the life of the dying child," "she confessed that the only reason she performed the ritual was because she already knew that the child was the same child from the prophecy, the same way how a century ago she knew that it was her offspring with an ancient vampire and not him himself would be the one to complete the prophecy." 

i could feel my heart stopping at this new revelation

"so all this time you knew about me" i asked feeling a bit betrayed "even so you left me"

"i didn't know it was you, honestly, when  we met i was confused, i fell in love immediately " he confessed "i never felt that way about anyone, but you and I were not destined for each other, or so i thought" he smiled "you see at the time i believe you to be human, i could not sense anything from you, so I panicked and left."

"my mother told me the story but she left the part about her binding your powers, all she said was that after you turned eighteen i would be able to find you" 

he took me in his arms once again, "Lena Smith, or should i say Princess Lena Hauteville," you and I will never part, not ever again" he promised

I turned to my pack, disbelief and disapproval registered in their face.

" i cannot explain why faith has chosen us to carry the weight of the world, yet alone fall in love with each other, but he is my mate and it shouldn't matter what he is, but what will accomplish together" I said "my parents died protecting me so i would be able to protect our world, and no one not even my own pack will get in the way of that." 

without giving them time to register what had happened, I stormed out of the room leaving my pack behind.
