Allies

Its been three weeks since the attack on Mackinac Island, we have slowly been re constructing the areas that were completely destroyed, Alexander has been back and forth aiding our people, but because of the feeding necessity of his people it has been quite difficult. Alexander is a full blooded vampire, son of an original and a witch, which means that he doesn't  need to feed off humans to survive, he may of stopped aging since he was nineteen a century ago but his powers and heritage has allowed him to maintain a regular human diet as well as those of a vampire, his people on the other hand, are made vampires and need the constant feeding which on Mackinac Island is forbidden.

The damage inflicted to the Island was great and it would take a few months before its all back to normally, Thou the amount of losses we suffered with our pack member is irreplaceable.

My grand father and parents had manage to get away in time, thanks to the help of the high witch who turned out be a seer.

The thought of loosing my family all over again had me overwhelmed with anger, but for now i was going to push all thoughts of Eric at the back of my head and focus on re building the Island, only this time we will rebuild with the best security system, we will train the pack for border patrol as well as install a submarine and aircraft detector, we will never again be surprised, as for Eric and his allies, they do not know what is coming for them.

I head to the meeting hall where all the highest members of the pack, including Prince Alexander and his second in command as well as the High Witch were gathered waiting for my arrival. 

 I couldn't allow myself time for breakdowns and vulnerability, much less allow the pack member including my grandfather to question my relationship with Alexander.

good Morning, i greeted as i walk into the room, i lift my hand signaling all to remain seated.

"three weeks ago we were taken by surprised, Eric launched an attack against us and we were not prepared for it" I boomed "we have been rebuilding the Island with the best security system known to both human and supernatural world in order to prepare for his next attack, thou that wont be necessary because going forward we will be the one making attacks,"

"the reason Prince Alexander is here today is because i am to announced not only our alliance but also our marriage" I declared

"what " exclaimed my father "that cannot be allowed"

"its an abomination" said another pack member

"quite" I snapped "when you crowned me as your princess, you also crowned me as your Alpha and my decision will not be questioned, Prince Alexander is a half vampire, half witch but above all that he is my mate" I confessed "and as my mate he will be respected.

i turned to the high witch "you said I had already met my mate" I questioned

"yes" confirmed the witch 

"you also said that both my mate and i would become the most powerful supernatural being to walk the earth" i continued to question her.

"yes" she once again confirmed 

"the man in your vision, the one that you claimed to be my mate, is he in this room? I asked her

"oh yes he is" she replied "he is the man sitting next to your sister, Prince Alexander Stephanos" she said pointing at Alex

"then it is settled" it was my grand father who spoke

"mating is something we do not control" he said "if destiny has brought these two together it has to be for a reason" he insisted 

"I don't expect any of you to understand" I sighed "but giving up on Alexander is not an option for me"

"the princess is right" said the witch "she has cannot give up on her mate, you have all been so busy attacking the princess and her mate that you haven't taken a single moment to observe the powerful aura that surrounds them.

"it is truth" exclaimed Andre "we have experienced their power first handed"

he went on explaining what happened the first time Alexander and I saw each other, the power we had released and the energy that was in the air even after i left the room

"maybe its time" he added "we look past our differences with vampires, after all we are all being threatened by Eric and if we don't do something about it, we will all be eliminated. 

i could still see disapproval in the eyes of the pack members, but they nodded agreement to Andre's claim.

i had a sudden thought,

"grand father" i said "i would like to demonstrate the members gathered here today a tiny bit of what our power can do," i suggested "that is if i have a volunteer 

"Lena you cant" exclaimed Anya 

Andre already knowing what will happen if any of the less powerful members offered came forward.

i stood next to Alexander prepared for the attack, Andre came at us with force, as soon as he was near me, Alexander's power interlaced it self with mine and Andre was sent flying into the wall.

I heard screams of surprise as Anya and Sarah ran to ensure Andre was OK.

"Andre came at us with force" explained Alex "but we countered his attack with nothing but one percent of what our power can do together."

"on one  percent" stuttered my father

"yes one percent" Alex repeated

"I will never serve as guinea pig again" groaned Andre getting up from the spot he had landed after hitting the wall.

suddenly there was whispered of approval within the group, everyone was pleased to have Alexander as an allies and me as their princess.
