King Eric Falls

it was time, we were finally going to launch our attack against Eric; we had already sent our first group of soldiers to setup camp near Mackinaw city, another group was sent near Cheboygan and another group was sent to St Ignace those were the closest places to the Island but our main squad would be launching an attack directly into Eric's base in Michigan from where we are sure he will be regrouping in order to maki his attack.

"Lena" called Andre "we are ready to board the helicopter, Ethan just called to let us know that Eric had arrived to his hideout in Michigan" he informed

"alright"i replied "lets pay my dear uncle a visit"

we boarded the helicopter and made our way to the outside of Wexford County where Eric had his hideout set up, where Ethan was waiting on our arrival.

we finally descended into the clearing near the Humvee Ethan had waiting on us.

after dispatching the helicopter back to the Island we drove off to meet with Ethan.

we arrived before night fall to the place we were to meet with Ethan and the rest of the vampire army Alex had prepared for the attack.

"how is everything" i asked Ethan once we were in the house we were using as base.

"he arrived early this morning, we have been monitoring his movements since but he hasn't made any at tempt to leave. thou they have been several trucks in and out of his base, we believe they are weapons for his attacks" said Ethan

"good then he wont see what hit him" i replied

" are the men ready for the attack" i asked

"yes" he replied

"we will commence our attack as soon as dark hits, we will not give him any chance to run" i commanded 

"yes princess" he said bowing "i will notify the men"he said as he walked away.

as dark set we were ready to attack.

"i don't know what we should expect behind those wall" i said"but today will will bring Eric and his followers down, we will not retreat, we will not cower, we shall stand our ground and prevail"i said "today Eric will be defeated"

we launched into attack, our witches broke the barrier that was protecting the base, with that been done we moved in on Eric, we had succeeded with our surprise attack, Eric was not expecting us. as soon as we took down the guards patrolling the main entrance an alarm went off making our presence know.

"don't stop" i commanded "leave no on standing"

i wasn't going to forgive anyone who allied Eric on his path to destroying our world.

I made my way into the main building taking down a few guards as i advanced with Alex at my side.

"well, well,well," came a voice from behind the wall to our left "if it isn't princess Lena Hauteville, not sure if i should bow in reverence or finish what i started eight years ago" he mocked

i gasped as i recognized the face of the man standing in front of me, it was the same man that eight years ago murdered my parents despite their pleas.

anger boiled inside me as i prepare to attack, when suddenly an arm wrapped around me successfully calming me down.

"leave him to me" said Alex "i will make him pay for what he did to you, you continue in search for Eric and i will join you as soon as i can" 

smiling i turned to face the man "not even Eric can help you from the pain you are about to experience, you shall pay for murdering my parents" with that i walked out the room in search for my dear uncle.

as i walked into the next room i could hear the battle that was going on, this room was empty so i made my way up to the top floor, i had to eliminate a few obstacles on my way up but it was all worth it as i was a step closer to obtaining my  goals.

i was about to enter the last room when  i felt Eric presence, he had killed the man that killed my parents and was not heading up to join me, i mentally connected to him.

"are you OK" i asked 

"yes"  he answered back " he was a bit hard to beat but i took care of him"

my parents were finally avenge, thou i still had to deal with the person who ordered their murder.

"Lena, come in" said Andre through the earbud

"i hear Andre, what is going on?" i asked

"its Mat, he was injured" he replied "Anya is taking him back to base" he reported

"is it serious?" i asked 

"he was taken by surprise by a witch, who manage to injured him, i am not sure how serious it is" he responded

"OK" i said " hows the rest of the team" i asked

"everyone else is doing fine, Roman sustained a small injury but he is fine to continue with the battle"

"how are you and Alex doing" he asked "do you need any reinforcements"

"no we are doing good, i think we are closing in in Eric"  i answered 

"OK" "let us know if you need our help" he said and with that our communications was cut.

Alex arrived as i was about to enter the last room, i was relieved despite the anger i felt towards my uncle.  I didn't want to face him alone in battle.

we made our way into the room we assumed Eric would be in, surely enough he was sitting at a table in the middle of the room, he seemed to be waiting for us to arrive.

"welcome, my dear beloved niece" he said "i was hoping you would pay me a visit, thou i must say, i didn't expect it to be this soon" 

"i am not your niece" i spat "i could never be related to such a monster like you"

"you had your minions do your dirty work, murdering my parents and trying to kill me as well as your own father" i went on "all because you don't want to abide by the rules the council has bestowed on the supernatural world"

"well my father i wanted dead because of the council and what they stand for" he replied "but your parents, I had them killed for allowing that witch to mix the blood of a werewolf with a vampire, such abomination" he said

"I don't care whatever excuses you want to use to cover up the fact that you murdered my parent, it wont work" i exclaimed "the only abomination that exist is you"

"Eric Hauteville, son of Ezra Hauteville we are here to bring you in to face the Council for the crimes you have committed" i informed him "you have the right to object to this but i can assure you the outcome will not be pleasant" i said 

as to prove a point i pulled my cell phone out and dialed Andre's number, after the first ring he answered so i proceeded to put the call on speaker.

"Andre can you give me an update on your current situation" i said into the receiver

"princess" he replied "we have manage to eliminate all of Eric's guards, a few of them flee but it was only the minority that was able to get away." he informed 

"thank you Eric" i replied "it will all be over soon, please prepare the Humvee, we will be transporting a very dangerous prisoner with us" i said cutting the call

still with the smile plastered on my face i looked at Eric.

"as i was saying, you have the right to resist, but i can guarantee you it will not be a pleasant battle"

"by the way uncle" i said sarcastically "do you remember the witch that performed that spell that save my life, the witch you later on murdered"

"meet her son and my mate" i said "Alexander Stephanos, prince of the Stephanos Vampire clan" 

"how dare you" he roared "how dare you stand in front of me spouting such nonsense" he yelled "no werewolf is to be mated with a vampire,"

suddenly he was in my face, as he was about to grab me from my neck he was sent flying backwards into the wall.

I could see anger in Alexander's eyes as he strode towards Eric and with one hand picked him from off the floor and hand cuffing him.

as i we walked out of the building Eric in tow, i couldn't  help but feel satisfied. although my purpose was to completely eliminate Eric offering him up to the Council seemed like a better idea.

i turned to look at the man that destroyed not only my family but also Alexander's. 

King Eric Hauteville, son of King Ezra Hauteville and my uncle, today you have met your down fall.

 i pushed him into the Humvee next to Alex as i sat on the other side as we drove out of Wexford County towards where the helicopter would meet us to take us back to Mackinac Island.
