Sam stared at the weapon, dead in its silver, burning eyes. Time felt like it stopped to her. The monster in human form didn’t break the gaze. It was about then that Sam realized that the Goddesses were still there. She turned and looked at them. “Seriously, what are you two still doing here, get lost,” she said to them in a hurry. It snapped them out of their daze that they were in. “Right,” Athena replied and the two of them disappeared.
