This meeting was going on for far longer than I had expected. I forgot to get my phone in the office... all I wanted to do was get home to see her and make sure with my own eyes that she was okay... when she asked me to move out of the room, because she felt she was capable of looking after herself, I felt disappointed, but, I wanted her to have her independence back.
Sometimes I would catch her looking at me just staring... I found it cute how she would try to cough if I pulled a funny face while she thought I was sleeping, my nose would itch, and I would twitch my nose so she wouldn't know I was awake... I would hear her giggle then cough to cover her giggles.
