Chapter 13 Elias never thought a girl would be his demise. But now he sat staring at his phone, trying to force it to alert him of a message from Tara. I’m going mad. This little slip of a girl whom he barely knew was slowly bringing him to his knees. The damn phone simply stared back with all the interaction of a dark screen.
