Loughborough, England
Three weeks. It had been three weeks since they returned to Loughborough and her father had not yet found a solution to their dilemma. Her mother was beginning to become weary, yet, Jane could not get herself to do the same. It was likely that this was because in truth, she had no need for her father’s wealth. She had more than enough of her own, only that no one knew. No one except for Nana’s solicitor of affairs and herself. Nana had kept this secret to herself and had taken it to her grave. One more reason why she loved the woman, why she would always love her.
