Dominic POV
She fled the scene like a scaredy cat. I followed her with my gaze. Miss Ling, was a really pleasant surprise that came sweeping me off my feet. I loved her art, and now the attraction I felt for the woman was off the charts.
My phone rang and I saw the screen flashing… “Hey Allie…” I sighed. Aline, a beautiful woman that loves me, but that I can't love back. Somehow it is not meant to be, but despite all that, she has been my constant comfort. In my most vulnerable moments, she has been the one holding me together, and that has to count for something.
“Are you coming back soon?” She asked, and I sighed. I was not in the mood to act complacent towards her.
“I am still at the gallery, and I am having some drinks… I will spend the night in the city and get back tomorrow…”
