CHAPTER 2: A FRESH START

Yukina screams

“K, KKKKKYYYYaaaahhhk!!” 

She falls to the ground shuddering, her hand felt a cold foot behind her,  feeling of worms about the foot ,she trembles then she looks up, a woman with long hair stares then howled at her and she scream as she squeezed her eyes shut. 

“What’s wrong with you? Why are you screaming like a dog?

She squeeze her eyes open looking at the direction of the voice, dark skin color, with dread locks hair, black eyes stares back at her.

“Miyu” yukina stood up holding miyu while shuddering

“We must leave this place miyu”

“Uh”  why? miyu  confused

“I saw her”

"Saw who? Miyu raise an eyebrow!

“I saw her, the legendary urban ghost of king crest high school, she describes what she saw, Tracy and christabel walks up to her.

“You are retarded” Tracey interrupted, let’s go, I found the year book, you guys are bunch of loser without back bone.

Let’s leave.

They leave the classroom, the urban ghost ,a woman on a blood stain white dress with hair from head to her kneel picks up the black beads from the ground and she wore it into her neck and she howled a name,

“marraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaai”

…

“K, KKKKKYYYYaaaahhhk!!” screaming at the top of his lungs, a Young man woke up from bed, panting furiously.

“Nightmare!”

The alarm bells cut in with a beeping sound, it was past six.

“s**t” I over slept”

He rush to shower and then in few minutes, he was in his school uniform, king crest high school. he comb his hair and stared into the mirror, a reflection of his face, a pale skin, dark  eyes ,curling hair, not really handsome but not ugly, average height.

He Opens the door and walks out from his apartment and he gaze into the sunny sky, he sees ghost floating round the city sky freely, around skyscrapers and tall towers.

Today April 14 2025. I turn 17, as long as I can remember, I could see things beyond the supernatural, but I pretend not to see them. Esp. wandering ghost, some ghost have intelligence, some are dumb.

If they know I can see them, I will be prone to attacks, like that incident that killed my mum though not my biological mum but she was everything to me. I was found close to a tower holding a short staff in my hand; the staff has similar designs as the relic tower. Dungeon hunters tried to venture into  towers in Benin metropolis but none had survived, so far rumors has it that these towers are responsible for people disappearing. The disappearance cases grew worse over time. The only thing that bothers me, is my constant dreams, same dream every night, a vision of war, a man and a lady in green armory in medieval era keep saying  the same words.

  "joromi",come ,you have to save us and then a big explosion happens. He looks up the tower afar, who are my birth parents, what are my relationship with this tower, and my dreams, did I reincarnate into another life. My memories haunts me.

He continue to think aloud, when a familiar voice suddenly cuts in

"WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT? He pretends not to have heard what the voice has said

WHY DO YOU IGNORE MY VOICE AS THOUGH YOU DON"T HEAR ME, YOU DON’T TRUST ME, I HAVE CALLED YOU COUNTLESS TIMES.

YOUR DREAMS ARE REVEALED TO YOU BY MY POWER, YOUR PAST LIVES CALLS TO YOU. DESTINY HAS MADE HER MOVE, YOUR TRAINING BEGINS AT YOUR NEW SCHOOL .THE HIGH COUNCIL OF THE REALM DICTATES,

YOU MUST BE STRONG, YOU HAVE TO BE STRONG FOR THE APOCALYPSE TO COME. THE WORLD IS ABOUT TO ENTER THE ERA OF CHAOS., SHE IS COMING.

He continued walking, then stops “apocalypse” end of the world, was he talking about.

“And who is she?

This spirit has continued to reveal itself in my dreams, the first time I ever listened to her, was the last time I listen to an intelligent spirit, it cost me my mother's life, and the disappearance of my brother. The reason I begin a new school is to find clues about my brother who went missing about a year plus ago, he was a student in senior class, and kept looking for information about our father who mysteriously went missing while solving a case in the same school, the only way to find

Yuri, my brother is to start from where the mystery began.

He stops in front a school premises, the school billboard letters are “KING CREST HIGH SCHOOL”,

A rectangular four story building similar to a Japanese school in structure with huge sparking window glasses about it.  The school building colors are bright blue and white color with a huge wall clock in the middle of the structure, Its annex has track field, swimming structure and other extra buildings with beautiful tall green trees.

“Kurosaki kun” a beautiful female student holding a book running toward him on king crest uniform.

A familiar voice calls his name and he turns,

 My childhood friend. she gave me the courage to start this school, she is my second reason for enrolling, I have a crush on her, pale skin, beautiful blue eyes, a lovely yellow braid hair, a Coca Cola shape body for her age, she is intelligent, and am a year older in age but same class 3b, I haven't told her my feelings yet but Yuri told me that she knows about my feelings for her but things always turn awkward between us.

“What u are thinking about? Christabel jumps front of him while staring into his eyes”

“So Cute”, he blushes,

“Just wondering about some stuff” he replied scratching his head.

“I see u are on your new uniform, he looks good on you, later I show you around the school premises, and am sure you love it.” The duo walks into the school.
