Of all the people I met on the first day of school, only Sandro was the only one that stuck in my mind. From being strangers to best friends. From being classmates to contests buddies.
Our clash during contests and quiz bees became the reason why I would like to know him better.
I thought that when I entered the new school everything would be easy and I would stand out and top the class. But I failed because he already knew all the things I am starting to learn. I took everything between us as a competition. I did not realize that competing with him using my brain would leave my heart unguarded.
