Rosie laughed and rolled her eyes, "You learning how to cook doesn't mean I won't kick you to the curb.
Vincent was surprised by her response, "Come on, let's go for a walk." he said holding his hand out to her.
She looked past him and squinted her eyes. A huge smile spread across her face as Drew appeared. Rosie jumped up and ran over to him, "How did it go?" she whispered to him.
"Actually pretty good," he said his eyes twinkling and a huge smirk on his face as it turned red.
Rosie reached out and ran her fingers over the bruise on his nose and jaw. "That looks painful." She was quickly pulled back behind Vincent's back.
Drew laughed, "What's the matter, Vincent? Afraid she upgraded?"
Victor quickly separated the two. "Go for that walk," he said looking from Rosie to Vincent and back.
"No way, I came to see her," Drew argued
Victor looked him in the eye, "He is going to kill you, just shut up."
Drew continued to taunt him, "Who do you think kept her company while you were gone?"
Vincent went past Victor and started hitting Drew, Drew returned each blow with one of his own.
"You don't deserve them," Drew taunted.
"You are not man enough to take her away from me," Vincent responded.
Rosie helped Victor separate the two, "We will be back in a few minutes." she said and grabbed Drew's hand and walked away into the woods.
"What the hell?" Vincent asked watching their backs, he stormed off to the pack-house.
Angelica watched Vincent storm into the front door, then down the hall and slam his office door shut. Seeing that he was alone, she followed. She listened at the door and heard him slamming things around and went back to the kitchen preparing him a drink, just the way he liked it. Then she returned to the door and knocked. Waiting a minute, she knocked again. She hadn't heard him say anything but she opened the door anyways right as a glass object hit the wall and shattered.
"A-Alpha," she said with a shaky voice.
"WHAT?" he yelled out glaring in the direction of the voice.
"I-I brought you something to drink," she mumbled out wide-eyed.
"What?" he asked confused.
"I thought you might like something to drink," she said lowering her eyes.
"Oh, well, Thank You," he said acknowledging the drink. He took a big drink and tried to calm himself down. "I'm sorry if I scared you." he finally said. She nodded and turned to the door. "Where are you going?" he asked.
"Back to the kitchen," she responded.
"Making dinner?" he asked very curiously.
"Yeah."
"How about I help you?"
"Really?" she asked wide-eyed.
"Of course, let's go," he said and they went to the kitchen together.
She leads the way in silence. She could not believe he had talked to her let alone following her to the kitchen to help her. Once inside she began chopping up the vegetables. Vincent watched her for a few minutes and then started pulling out the pans he wanted to use, followed by the ingredients. They worked together in silence for about thirty minutes and then Vincent started asking her questions.
"How have things been going since graduation?" Vincent asked.
"Fine," she said with a smile.
"Do you get to spend time with your friends?"
"No, I am almost always alone," she told him.
"That's no way to be," he said feeling sorry for her.
"It works," she said with a smile.
"Well, you are going to start spending some time with people your own age," Vincent said with a smile.
