As the two women approached the living room, they could hear Chase giving Jason a hard time. The brothers enjoyed teasing the Alpha.
"So what did you think when you saw Brandon appear with Katie?" Chase laughed.
"What the hell was I supposed to think? I wanted to rip his head off." Jason replied annoyed.
Chance laughed, "Hell of a way to find out, huh?"
"Yeah, a hell of a way. How could you hide him for so long?" Jason asked.
Chance cleared his throat, "Didn't know what to do when she disappeared."
"I wanted to kill him when he grabbed Katie." Chance finally admitted.
"Not so funny when it's your mate, huh?" Jason said giving him a look.
"Still my daughter," he warned.
"But, you have been laughing for a half-hour," Jason responded.
"You are correct, sorry about that," Chase said looking at him.
"Oh, Jesus. He has to get his heir from her." Chance said looking at Chase and then back at Jason.
"Or his line dies." Jason finished, sighing.
"You can't be serious," Chase said looking between the two. "He's part of that friggin line?"
"Yup," Jason answered looking to the hall. He pointed and they all stopped talking.
"You scented us, huh?" Katie said walking into the room.
"Yeah, you two definitely can control a room," Jason said smiling at them.
Kylie went over and Jason pulled her onto his lap taking a deep breath next to her neck.
"Hey, we are in the room." Chase protested.
"They are mates," Katie said rolling her eyes.
"Doesn't mean I want to see that." He continued.
"Didn't want to hear you earlier, but that keeps happening." Jason retorted making Kylie laugh.
Chance smirked, "Take any pointers pup?"
"Don't call me a pup! We are the same age!"
"Ok, son," he said with a glint in his eye.
"Keep it up and we will give you something to compete against," Jason warned.
Kylie laughed, "NO more."
Chance and Chase threw their hands in the air, "We didn't start it."
Katie answered immediately, "We heard you, yes you did."
"Busted," Chase said with a smirk.
"I'll punish you later." Katie's smile was genuine.
"Ew," Jason said rolling his eyes, "None of that right now. We brought the girls to see you."
Katie rushed over and picked them up, kissing them and handing one to Chance, she sat back down.
