Lucas looked at Agnes who was in turn looking at Jane with amused expression, he spoke up making her look at him.
“Agnes are you okay?”
Jane and Arthur looked at Agnes as they remembered that they were finding their missing team member. Jane walked near Agnes as she held her shoulder and looked at her from top to bottom ensuring she had not been injured in any way, after she has been sure she shouted.
“WHAT WERE YOU THINKING!!! HUH!! I TOLD YOU TO STICK CLOSE WHAT IF SOMETHING HAD HAPPENED TO YOU!!”
Jane shouted in worry as Agnes looked down and then looked at her making with tears in her emerald colored eyes. Jane’s eyes widened, flustered seeing Agnes acting like a cute kicked puppy.
“No..no it’s okay. I’m sorry I shouted at you”
Agnes looked at her with her puppy eyes glistening with hope as she asked.
“Do you forgive me?”
Jane could actually see Agnes’ dropped ears, she nodded not being able to handle all the cuteness, but just as she did Agnes blinked her eyes few times and with that no traces of tears could be seen. Jane stepped back pointing her fingers at Agnes in accusation.
“You..You tricked me”
Agnes gave her a closed eye smile making Arthur laugh out loud. Jane huffed and turned her face away from Agnes, finally noticing King Fame standing who was enjoying the whole show.
“Who are you?”
King Fame gave Jane a smile as he answered.
“I’m Russel Fame King of Avascus Kingdom”
Jane’s eyebrows raised in question suddenly remembering that they have come in a dimension where Kings and Queens still existed. She nodded and questioned him again.
“And may I know why is a King standing here and listening to our conversation?”
Russel chuckled and answered.
“I was waiting for you all to finish so that I can invite you all to my kingdom as a gesture of gratitude”
Lucas narrowed his eyes as he spoke up this time.
“Gratitude for what?”
“Gratitude for saving my life, you see Lady Agnes saved my life”
All three looked at Agnes, Jane and Arthur with disbelief while Lucas was watching her with interest, but she just shrugged not caring to give any explanation. All of them sighed knowing they will not be able to take any information out from her if she does not want to tell them.
“Fine we will go”
“What!!”
Jane shouted at Arthur who has agreed to go with Russel, she glared at him thinking *Just how can they trust an unknown person*. Arthur shrugged as he whispered in a low tone yet Russel being a vampire was able to hear it.
“Why not Jane? We are all hungry, we do not have any place to stay and sun is about to set, it is better we go with him”
Jane was about to rebuke but Lucas spoke up.
“Arthur is right.”
Jane still seemed unsatisfied as she looked at Agnes for support, Agnes looked at her and closed her eyes and opened it, silently telling her that she does not have to be afraid of Russel. Jane sighed as she nodded seems like they are going to Avascus Kingdom.
